1. The Challenge: Extreme Coastal Environment

Located just meters from the ocean in the Maldives, this project required a solution that could withstand constant salt spray and intense tropical sun. The dual-purpose panels needed to provide essential ventilation for AC units while maintaining a high-end architectural aesthetic. 

2. M-City’s Engineering Solution 

We utilized 2.5mm thick aluminum to ensure structural rigidity against strong sea breezes. Using precision laser cutting, M-City created custom patterns that balance airflow for HVAC efficiency with visual screening. 

3. Superior Surface Protection 

To guarantee longevity, we applied a Grey PVDF Powder Coating with a 10-year warranty. This specialized finish is engineered for coastal environments, offering exceptional resistance to corrosion, chalking, and fading—ensuring the facade remains pristine despite the harsh Maldivian climate.
